The love story of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen might not be over yet as Lionsgate Motion Picture Group co-chairman Patrick Wachsberger says the studio is open to making more Twilight films.
The studio executive said more Twilight movies are possible but it all depends on if author Stephenie Meyer wants to write a new story related to Bella and Edward, reported Aceshowbiz.
“It’s a possibility. Not a certainty but it’s a possibility. It’s about Stephenie (the Twilight Saga book author Stephenie Meyer). If she wants to tell a story related to those characters we’re here for her,” he said.
The Twilight movie series starring Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart became a worldwide phenomenon after the first film was released in 2008. The series went on to earn $3.3 billion worldwide.
