When Lumley was offered the chance to kiss Leonardo DiCaprio, she did what any sane woman would do – she stocked up on mints.

“There was a lot of peppermint involved,” revealed the British actress.

Appearing on TV show Watch What Happens Live alongside her Absolutely Fabulous co-star Jennifer Saunders, Lumley was asked to describe kissing the 41-year-old actor in three words.

She replied: “Pepperminty. Adorable”, before Saunders interjected with “soft lips”.

Lumley pointed out that she had only had two words and then added: Fabulous.
