Actor Nicolas Cage will star in the forthcoming movie Frozen Ground that tells the story of a notorious serial killer. Cage has signed up to play an Alaska State Trooper who investigated the murders by notorious serial killer Robert Hansen, reports Contactmusic.com.

Hansen, who got the nickname, The Butcher Baker, was convicted in 1984 after confessing to killing 17 women and raping 30 more in a span of 12 years. The shooting of the movie is scheduled to start in Anchorage, Alaska from Oct 10.
