The duo star in Water For Elephants, a compelling drama that hits the Indian screen this Friday.



"Rob’s such a thoughtful person and so introspective as a human being. He’s quiet and watches everyone. He is just fantastic in the movie," the 35-year-old says.



Depite her appreciation for the actor, Witherspoon reveals she had the worst ever love-making scene with Pattinson in the movie. "Rob possibly had the most hideous horrible cold any of my co-stars ever had," she says. "I was a little disappointed. It wasn’t sexy," she adds.

In the flick, the actor stars as Marlena, the star attraction of a circus, who is trapped in an abusive marriage to a volatile and mercurial ringmaster August, played by Oscar winner Christoph Waltz.



Pattinson’s veterinarian character Jacob Jankowski offers her a choice to leave with him. "She has to make a decision. It’s all about — is she going to jump out of her life, into his life, which is a big wide world out there — the America in the 1930s when the stock market has crashed, there are no jobs and there are no opportunities? It is her only chance at redemption," she says.

Witherspoon also did extensive training with an elephant for the movie.
