Quentin Tarantino fans just got a first glimpse of Django Unchained, the director's next film, with a teaser poster released by the Weinstein Company on Yahoo! Movies. Showing two silhouettes outlined against a red backdrop with a black chain hanging over them, the poster confirms that the film will be out by the end of 2012.
After providing his own take on the World War 2 movie genre with Inglourious Basterds, Quentin Tarantino tackles the tropes of Spaghetti Westerns in Django Unchained. The film follows a newly freed slave on a quest for vengeance who gets help from a former German dentist turned hitman.
The movie, which is still in production, stars Jamie Foxx and Christoph Waltz and also features Leonardo DiCaprio, Kerry Washington, Kurt Russell and Samuel L. Jackson.
