The Justice League cast is having a blast in this new behind-the-scenes video
Justice League, the DC Comics superhero extravaganza, recently completed production in London, and to celebrate, director Zack Snyder tweeted a sizzle reel of behind-the-scenes footage for fans.
Justice League, the DC Comics superhero extravaganza, recently completed production in London, and to celebrate, director Zack Snyder tweeted a sizzle reel of behind-the-scenes footage for fans.
The 1.23 minute video offers new glimpses at our heroes - Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg - however, there was no sign of Henry Cavill’s Superman, who was killed in the last film in the series, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
The marketing strategy behind Justice League has been very different from any previous DC film. They seem to be addressing the complaints fans and critics had with BvS directly - that it was too dark and dreary. This whole exercise seems to be designed to reassure fans that they’re in for a much lighter Justice League movie.
The cast seems to be having a great time on set, goofing around and training hard. While most of the shots are from greenscreened sound stages, there is a glimpse or two of a large-scale outdoor action sequence.
The clip ends with Snyder thanking his cast and crew for a great shoot.
Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, JK Simmons, Willem Dafoe and more. It is scheduled for a November 17, 2017 release.
