Jason Reitman has added Tobey Maguire to the cast of his new film Labor Day, a drama starring Kate Winslet and Josh Brolin, according to Deadline.com.
Tobey Maguire has been cast in a key role in the feature based on the Joyce Maynard bestseller of the same name. The actor will be the story's narrator, as well as playing the adult version of the adolescent at the heart of the plot.

Already shooting, Labor Day tells the story of how, during one long holiday weekend, a single mother and her shy adolescent son welcome into their home a man wanted for murder.
