Hollywood actor Leah Remini has claimed in her Scientology tell-all that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ daughter Suri was left to weep on the bathroom floor at the couple’s pre-wedding dinner. Suri was seven months old at that time.
In her expose, Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology, The King of Queens actor said that Suri was heard wailing throughout the star-studded dinner. She added when she went to check on the baby, she found Cruise’s sister, his assistant and another woman staring at the baby, who was left lying on the bathroom floor. She claimed that she finally convinced the women to pick up Suri, who was still crying, and give her a warm bottle of milk.
Holmes and Cruise split in 2012 and she left the Church with Suri.
The book also sketches Cruise as a troubled man with an explosive temper. Remini said the actor is known for his epic tantrums and secret feuds that those close to him must endure. Once part of Cruise’s inner circle, Remini claims to have personally witnessed shocking episodes in which the Mission Impossible star lost his temper for the most banal of reasons, according to Daily Mail.

On one occasion, she writes in an excerpt published on RadarOnline.com, Cruise lost his temper when handed a mug of tea with a chip in the rim by his assistant. “You served me tea in a chipped mug?’ she claims he ranted. ‘Do you know who gets served with a mug that’s chipped? F***ing DBs”. (DB is what Scientologists call Degraded Being, who are supposed to be infested with evil spirits.)
“It was horrible to watch someone I admired come undone, and even worse to witness the fear in the assistant’s eyes,” writes Remini.
Cruise’s ‘unusual’ behaviour has sometimes spilled into the public eye - such as the infamous occasion in 2005 when he jumped on a couch during Oprah Winfrey’s show.
