Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman absent from daughter Bella’s wedding

Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman were absent when their adopted daughter Bella married a non-scientologist. Bella kept her guest list limited to a small group of close friends as she afraid of the press that her father may draw.

Hollywood star Tom Cruise was absent from his adopted daughter Isabella Cruise’s secret wedding last month. Isabella got married to British IT consultant Max Parker, who is a non-scientologist, in a romantic ceremony at The Dorchester Hotel in Central London on September 18, reported Ace Showbiz.

In some of the pictures obtained, Isabella, 22, is seen posing alongside her bridesmaids. She wore a white mini dress and a veil while her bridesmaids donned matching nude jumpsuits. But there are no photos of Bella’s brother Connor and mother Nicole Kidman. Bella kept her guest list limited to a small group of close friends as she afraid of the press that her father may draw.

While Nicole Kidman was not part of the wedding, she was reportedly ‘overjoyed’ at the news.

While Bella is a member of the Church of Scientology and still attends services regularly, her husband is reportedly a non-scientologist and has not even met Tom. Nicole, meanwhile, was allegedly “overjoyed” at her daughter’s new union.

Tom’s busy filming schedule has made time with his other daughter Suri scarce this summer. In August, he was not present for the funeral of his stepfather who had raised him. According to reports, the two had a falling out after Tom joined the Church of Scientology.

Tom and Nicole adopted Bella and Connor during their marriage.
