A latest post by American actor Tyrese Gibson recently teased the possibility of him playing Green Lantern in the DC Universe.

American actor Tyrese Gibson sent the Internet into a tizzy recently, all thanks to an Instagram post by the Fast and Furious star. On Thursday, he uploaded an image of himself as the John Stewart version of the popular DC superhero, Green Lantern, (played and completely ruined by Ryan Reynolds earlier) and captioned it, ‘It’s Time’. This got DC fans speculating the possibility of the actor bagging the role of Green Lantern.

Actor Henry Cavill, who plays Superman in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU), has been teasing the possibility of a Green Lantern cameo in the upcoming Justice League movie for quite some time now, and this might just confirm that.
