After getting fans excited for months, Lady Gaga has finally shared the trailer of her upcoming Hollywood movie, A Star Is Born. Directed by Bradley Cooper (who is also the other lead of the film), it tells the story of an unconfident singer who finds inspiration in a broken man.
The trailer begins with a beautiful song from Bradley. We are told his career is going down the drain due to his unhealthy lifestyle. He runs into Gaga at a joint and is mesmerised by her. He tells her she should sing her own songs but she doesn’t think she looks good enough to be a star. He convinces her that it’s a total lie.
Together, he gives her the motivation to give her voice to her songs and sing in front of everyone. They take over the world with their songs but things take a wrong turn and their relationship isn’t safe from it either.
Bradley is perfect once again as the man desperately in need of help but who would rather commit his energy on enriching someone else’s life. But the highlight of the trailer is, of course, Gaga. She looks unrecognisably different from her usual self and brings a beautiful innocence to her character. The first time she gets on stage and you hear her strong voice roar through the crowd reminds you of the first time you heard her on the radio.

She was nominated in 2016 for her song ‘Till It Happens To You’ for campus rape documentary The Hunting Ground. The award eventually went to Sam Smith for ‘Writing on the Wall’ from Spectre.
Gaga has previously shown her acting chops in the American Horror Story series and was seen in a special appearance in Sin City 2: A Dame To Kill For. She has also won six Grammy Awards, three Brit Awards and a Golden Globe Award.
A Star Is Born is the third remake of the original 1937 starring Janet Gaynor and Frederic March. The 1954 musical starred Judy Garland and James Mason while the 1976 rock musical starred Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson.
The film is set to release on October 5 in US.
