Hundreds gathered for the funeral of Johnson in Luton, who died of lung cancer in June at the age of 56. A woman who was into tarot and identified as a 'white witch', she loved Halloween and was known to dress up as The Tasmanian Devil for the spooky festival.
"My mum's always said you need to celebrate, you need to have a party. So we're not going to sit around feeling sorry for ourselves. My mum wouldn't want that," said her son Neil.
Her funeral, the soundtrack for which was provided by Dolly Parton was attended by several mourners in pointed witches hats while one man came dressed as Beetlejuice from Tim Burton's film.
The procession was led by a man who isn't a stranger to ominous marches, Darth Vader.
Lorna Johnson was diagnosed in October, her husband died in November and she is survived by four children and ten grand-children.
