Why Sam Mendes brought British secret service team back in Spectre

The 49-year-old director asserted that he felt an attachment to the characters that they created in Skyfall and he felt like there was unfinished business, and that there was a lot more he could do with them once he did kind of step aside and had some time off.

James Bond helmer Sam Mendes, who is coming up with latest Bond franchise Spectre, has revealed that why he is bringing back the British secret service team he established in Skyfall.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the 49-year-old director asserted that he felt an attachment to the characters that they created in Skyfall and he felt like there was unfinished business, and that there was a lot more he could do with them once he did kind of step aside and had some time off.

Mendes asserted that a lot of the last movie was shot in and around London but there was a limited amount of stuff one could shoot in London it also does relate back to Skyfall in many ways.

Spectre which is an acronym for Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion first appeared on screen in 1962's Dr No., returning in Thunderball, You Only Live Twice, On Her Majesty's Secret Service and Diamonds Are Forever.
