Director Bryan Singer thinks Mystique aka Raven Darkholme, played by Jennifer Lawrence in X-Men: Apocalypse, should get a standalone movie.

With The Wolverine 3 and a Gambit (2017) solo film on the docket, Bryan believes it’s the right time for a Mystique feature, reported Ace Showbiz.

“People have asked if I’d do a stand-alone movie about Mystique. I think she’s right... She has that view of the world,” Singer said.
Lawrence’s three-picture deal with Fox expires with X-Men: Apocalypse and so do James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender’s contracts. Reportedly, a clause in their contracts states that either all three will return or none of them will.
