Long queues at immigration, and security checkpoints have become a nightmare for passengers travelling to and from Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, reported ANI.

On Wednesday, many passengers took to social media to raise their plight of inconvenience they were facing at the airport.

The air quality in Delhi slipped to "poor" category on Wednesday while the city's minimum temperature settled at 16.3 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average, according to an Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) bulletin, PTI reported.

Partly cloudy sky is expected during the day and the maximum temperature is expected to hover around 34 degrees Celsius, it forecast.

A 23-year-old newly married woman from Uttar Pradesh died under mysterious circumstances in Rajasthan's Dholpur on Tuesday, the police said, reported ANI.

According to Suresh Dabriya, Circle Officer of Sarmathura, the in-laws allegedly tried to perform the last rites of the newly married woman in the absence of the husband. The next of kin of the deceased were also not informed, the report added.
