Agitated opposition members in Rajya Sabha went into a huddle with the Leader of Opposition on Tuesday after the House was adjourned till 2 pm within minutes of meeting for the day.

Later an opposition party MP said members were agitated after the adjournment as they have a lot of issues to raise.

12:30pm: TDP MPs protest in Lok Sabha over demand of special status to Andhra Pradesh and other issues. Parliamentary affairs minister Ananth Kumar says, “Want to tell my friends from TDP that their demands are very sensitive, PM and government of India are very sensitive about development of Andhra Pradesh, matters raised will be looked into”
11:26am: Rajya Sabha has been adjourned till 2 pm after Trinamool Congress (TMC) members created a ruckus over alleged interference of West Bengal governor Keshari Nath Tripathi in the state’s work.
11:20am: Lok Sabha adjourned briefly following protest by members of BJP ally TDP and YSR Congress seeking special facilities for Andhra Pradesh.
