The family members of a man, who died in a road accident, on Sunday alleged that his eyes were missing from the body after post-mortem, prompting authorities to order a probe into the matter.

Vivek Sahai, 22, died on Saturday night and his body was kept at a post-mortem house. His family members said the eye sockets in the body were empty after the autopsy was conducted, city magistrate Rakesh Srivastav said.
Chief medical officer, Jhansi, Vinod Yadav has constituted a panel of three doctors to probe the matter and submit a report.
Anything could be ascertained only after the submission of the report, the CMO said.
