Prime Minister Narendra Modi met German Chancellor Angela Merkel at Schloss Meseberg on Monday as he landed in Berlin on the first leg of his four-nation tour of Germany, Spain, Russia and France.

Modi is accompanied by minister for science and technology Harsh Vardhan, MoS for new and renewable energy Piyush Goyal, MoS for commerce and industry Nirmala Seetharaman and MoS for external affairs MJ Akbar.
On May 30, Prime Minister Modi and Chancellor Merkel will have a luncheon meeting with senior business leaders before inaugurating the Indo-German Business Forum.
PM Modi will end his German tour with a courtesy call on German President, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, before leaving for Spain Tuesday evening.
