PM Modi to address BJP parliamentary party meet ahead of Presidential poll

The meeting of the BJP Parliamentary Party Executive will be held on July 16, on the eve of the Presidential election scheduled for July 17.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair a meeting of the BJP Parliamentary Party Executive on the eve of the Presidential election scheduled for July 17, the day on which the monsoon session of Parliament also starts.

“A meeting of the BJP Parliamentary Party Executive is scheduled at 3 pm on July 16, which will be chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and will be conducted by parliamentary affairs minister Ananth Kumar,” said B Kamarasu in a letter addressed to all BJP Parliamentary Party Executive members.

After Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister, the BJP formed first-of-its kind Parliamentary Party Executive Committee.

Home minister Rajnath Singh, finance minister Arun Jaitley and senior ministers and leaders are members of the committee.
