Rajya Sabha’s monsoon session from July 17 to August 11

The government had earlier sent a recommendation to the President for holding the next session of Parliament during this period.

The monsoon session of the Rajya Sabha will be held between July 17 and August 11, the Rajya Sabha Secretariat said on Wednesday.

The President has summoned the Rajya Sabha to meet on July 17 (Monday). “Subject to exigencies of business, the session is scheduled to conclude on Friday (August 11),” it said in a statement.

The government had earlier sent a recommendation to the President for holding the next session of Parliament during this period.
