“Search operation is on to locate the six missing people but the chances of survival are low as the river is in spate. One body has been recovered,” a police official told IANS.
He said eight people, including four women, were travelling in a Tata Nano when the accident occurred near Aut, 175 km from Shimla, on Sunday night.
They were returning to Pandoh in Mandi district from Manikaran, known for popular Sikh shrine in Kullu district.
The only survivor was admitted to a hospital in Mandi town with injuries.
