The police have burst a flesh trade racket and arrested several women including a model and two small-time actresses here, an official said on Thursday. Among the women nabbed are a Marathi film actress, a model and a television serial actress.

Several women and three pimps have been arrested in the case.

Following a tip off, the police waited for them at a prominent upmarket shopping mall in Goregaon where the women were expected to meet their pimps and customers.

The police nabbed three pimps -- identified as Ashraf, Saira and Aman -- who allegedly charged between Rs 50,000 and Rs100,000 to supply the women to high profile and corporate clients.
