Two persons on Tuesday evening threw ink at Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal during an event in Rajasthan’s Bikaner, police said, adding that both had been detained.
The Aam Aadmi Party national convener was apparently attacked for his remarks on Indian Army’s surgical strike.
The incident happened while Kejriwal was in the city to pay condolence to the mother of AAP’s former national treasurer Shankar Sevda.
Dinesh Ojha and Vikram Singh, both belonging to the Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad, were detained for the alleged attack, superintendent of police Amandeep Singh Kapoor told HT.

Earlier, activists of Vishwa Hindu Parishad showed black flags to Kejriwal when he was on his way to Bikaner from Jodhpur. Nokha police arrested a VHP supporter Bajrang Lal in connection with the incident.
