UP: Man shot dead in brawl over goat

The incident took place when Javed’s family got involved in a scuffle with their neighbour Samayuddin, whose goat entered their house on Sunday morning.

The incident took place when Javed’s family got involved in a scuffle with their neighbour Samayuddin, whose goat entered their house on Sunday morning.

According to the police, they had a heated argument which escalated soon when supporters of both the sides joined in and fought with sticks. A few gunshots were also fired.

Javed’s sister and cousin also got injured in the incident.

An FIR has been registered on the complaint of Javed’s family and police are looking for the accused who are absconding.
