AN ALUMNI meet was organised by the Association of Convent Ex-Students (ACES) on November 14 as part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of St Joseph’s Convent School, Idgah Hills Bhopal.
Almost 1,000 ex-students, including several from abroad, participated in the function that began at the school in the afternoon. Rev Sister Lorraine Marie Delaney, Superior General, Sisters of St Joseph, Rome inaugurated the function.
ACES felicitated sisters and teachers during the programme that included an entertainment programme by ex-students.
The school function was followed by dinner and orchestra programme for all registered ex-students at hotel Noor-us-Sabah Palace.
ACES chairperson Kiran Awasthy, secretary Dr Sarla Menon, coordinator Reeta Lalwani, joint secretaries Dr Roohi Chandra and Faiza Quereshi, treasurer Rachna Dubey and a large number of alumni were present along with their spouses at the evening celebrations.
