However, the two accused in a separate murder case in which a builder Akarshan Srivastava was killed, are still absconding and the Khajuri police have not yet been able to arrest them. Habibganj police arrested Jagdish Sengar, one of the three culprits guilty of stabbing Prahalad to death, this morning while his two sons Brajesh Sengar and Rajesh Sengar remain at large.

Police said Jagdish was still in an inebriated condition when he was arrested from his house. Police have been interrogating him and say that he is still feigning to be out of his senses to mislead the police. The two sons were still absconding but police are hopeful of rounding them up soon.

Meanwhile, Khajuri police are yet to get a breakthrough in a separate case of murder of a builder, Akarshan Srivastava (35), who was brutally bludgeoned to death at his agricultural field by his two workers armed with a spade and heavy iron rod. The murder occurred on April 15 at Srivastava’s field located on the Khajuri road. The culprits, Lakhan of Khandwa and Gyarasi of Bareily, used to work for Srivastava and lived in a room at the field.
