Ten persons were killed and 19 others injured in a head-on collision between two Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) buses at Hanumana cross, 15 kms from Kolar, in the wee hours on Monday, police said.

One of the buses was on its way to Bangalore from Tirupati and the other was proceeding to Chennai from Bangalore.
Some of the injured have been rushed to a hospital in Bangalore while others were hospitalised in Kolar.
