Eleven persons were killed and seven others seriously injured when a SUV rammed into a stationary truck at Borisawargaon village in Maharashtra's Beed district early today.

The SUV carrying 18 people, double to its capacity, rammed into the sugarcane-laden truck. The victims were returning from Kallamb tehsil in Osmanabad district after attending a family function.

Three of the seriously injured have been shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMGH), Aurangabad.
