Erode town police on Friday arrested 113 pro-LTTE activists belonging to ‘Tamizar Kootani´, at Gandhiji Road in the district.

The protestors took out a procession from Paneerselvam Park to Income Tax office on Gandhiji Road, shouting pro-LTTE slogans, favouring the LTTE. They alleged that the Indian government was supporting the Sri Lankan government and was not taking any action to save the Tamilians in the island nation.
