12 grenades recovered from SBI locker in Mumbai

The State Bank of India locker, which was in the name of Ronald Vaaz, was not operated since 1990.

Twelve hand grenades and a sten gun were recovered from a locker of State Bank of India's Turner road branch in suburban Bandra on Friday.

The locker, which was in the name of Ronald Vaaz, was not operated since 1990.

The bank broke open the locker and discovered that it contained grenades and a sten gun, police said.

Police are trying to trace the person to whom the locker belongs.
