A 12-year-old dumb girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped by three men in Surat on Saturday, police said.
The victim and her brother were playing outside their home in Rander area when three men came in an auto-rickshaw and kidnapped them. They let off the boy at a distance and took the girl to a timber factory on the outskirts of the city and allegedly raped her, they said.
The accused fled from the scene leaving the girl bleeding profusely, they said.
The girl who was rushed to the Surat Civil Hospital is undergoing treatment in the trauma center of the hospital.
Police said that the girl's brother has told them in detail about the incident and they have begun investigation on the basis of information he provided.
None of the suspects could be arrested so far, they said.
