13 kg heroin seized, Pak intruder killed

BSF have shot dead a Pak intruder, who along with his accomplice had smuggled in 13 kg of heroin worth Rs 13 crore.

BSF on Tuesday shot dead a Pakistani intruder, who along with his accomplice had smuggled in 13 kg of heroin worth Rs 13 crore in the international market at Naushera Dhalla on the Indo-Pak border.

The two Pakistani intruders were trying to sneak into the Indian Territory. On being challenged by border guards, the two tried to run away following which BSF troops opened fire at them, BSF sources said.

In the firing, one of the Pakistani intruders was killed and the other, who was injured, managed to escape leaving behind the consignment.
