Thirteen out of 15 Kyrgyz Cabinet ministers submitted their resignations on Tuesday, a government spokeswoman said.
Roza Daudova said all except the transport and culture ministers offered their resignations in response to Parliament's resolution on Friday that found the work of the Cabinet unsatisfactory.
Parliament, however approved Prime Minister Felix Kulov's performance.
It was unclear if Kyrgyzstan's President Kurmanbek Bakiyev would accept the resignations.
Bakiyev, who came to power just over a year ago on a wave of mass protests that ousted his Soviet-era predecessor, has a tense relationship with Parliament.
He had a hard time forming his first Cabinet after his election as president in July, with lawmakers rejecting many of his candidates.
The government crisis comes three days after 10 thousand opposition supporters protested Bakiyev's policies in the poor Central Asian nation's capital, Bishkek, demanding political and economic reforms.
