14 students injured as bus falls in stream

Fourteen students were injured today when a school bus, in which they were travelling, skidded off the road and fell into a stream in Anantnag district of South Kashmir, a police spokesman said.

The accident took place at Ashmuqam, 80 kms from here, he said, adding the children were rushed to a Public Health Centre.

While 12 students were discharged after first aid, two children have been referred to Anantnag District Hospital for treatment, the spokesman added.
