15 BJP supporters killed in mishap

At least 15 people were killed and 39 seriously injured on Monday when the truck carrying them to BJP election rally at Nerwa fell into a gorge, 110 kms from Shimla.

At least 15 people were on Monday killed and 39 seriously injured when the truck carrying them to an election rally fell into a gorge at a place 110 kms from here, police said.

The accident occurred at Hadau near Nerwa in Shimla district, they said.

The injured have been admitted to a hospital here.

The victims were the supporters of BJP whose rally was scheduled at Nerwa on Monday, sources said.
