A MINOR GIRL, who was missing for the last few days, was allegedly kept confined and raped by a neighbour. The 15-year-old girl, who lives in Sudama Nagar, had been taken by Rakesh Yadav, a resident of the same locality, for an outing on October 30, the police said.
However, Rakesh and his brother Yogesh took her to a shanty near Karod and kept her in confinement. Rakesh allegedly raped the girl several times.
The girl managed to escape on Saturday and, after reaching home, she told her parents that she had been kept in confinement and raped by the neighbour.
The Kamla Nagar police registered a case of rape and abduction of minor and launched a hunt for the accused. City Link bus damaged: A City Link bus was stoned near Kamla Nagar on Friday evening. An unidentified motorcycle-rider hurled stones at the bus and smashed its windowpanes. On the complaint of the conductor, the police registered a case. This is the second
incident of miscreants damaging a City Link Bus in the Capital.
