At least 18 pro-democracy supporters, who participated in the anti-King demonstrations in April, are still missing, a report book published by Insec, a human rights organisation, said.
"We are still investigating the whereabouts of the missing," The Kathmandu Post quoted Subod Raj Pyakurel, Chairperson of Insec as saying.
The book titled Jana Andolan: A witness account gives detailed information about the missing people and the popular movement against the King.
The book is a documentation of atrocities committed on pro-democracy activists by the King-led government, during the 19-day Jana Andolan that forced the monarch to reinstate Parliament and restore democracy.
The book brings to notice the violations of civil and political rights, excessive use of force, deliberate attempts of massacre and government propaganda, among other things during the Jana Andolan.
At least 21 people, including one Indian, were killed in the anti-King democratic movement in April.
