Two railway staff were killed when two engines collided in the maintenance yard of the railway station in Gaya on Thursday, railway sources said.

A shunter Raj Kumar and maintenance staff MS Khan were killed when two engines collided in the examination pit of the yard around Wednesday midnight, Divisional Railway Manager of Mughalsarai division of East Central Railway HK Kala said.

Brake failure apparently appeared to be the reason for the mishap, he said.
