Two persons were killed and five others injured when their car collided head-on with a van near Yediyur, about 55 km from Tumkur on Sunday, police said.
The injured were first treated at a government hospital in Kunigal, which is nearby and then shifted to a private hospital in Bangalore where they are stated to be "out of danger", police said.
