2 labourers killed, 24 hurt in road accident

Two adivasi labourers have been killed and 24 others injured when their pick-up van dashed against a tree in North Maharashtra, police said.

Labourers working at Kalvan Agriculture Produce Market Committee were returning home in the van when the accident occured near Desrane village late last eveninsg.

The deceased were identified as Motiram Pawar and Kamal Pawar, police said, adding the injured were admitted at Kalvan rural hospital.
