2 lakhs to boost morale!

Haryana Chief Minister has give Rs 2 lakh to injured hockey player Sandeep Singh to boost his morale.

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said that the government would consider the proposal to set up a hockey academy at Shahbad and give Rs 2 lakh to injured hockey player Sandeep Singh to boost his morale.

Speaking at a State level sports function organised by Haryana Olympic Association to mark the birthday of hockey wizard Major Dhyan Chand in Shahbad Markanda, he said that the hockey players of the area, especially girls, were known for their skill all over the world.

He complimented the hockey coach Baldev Singh saying that it was because of his efforts that the hockey players did well at international level.

He assured that there would not be dearth of funds for promotion of hockey in Shahbad.

The Chief Minister announced that the State government would bear the expenses of Sandeep's treatment.
