2 software engineers quarantined for H1N1 flu test negative

Throat swab samples of two software engineers, which was sent to the National Institute of Virology at Pune for analysis on May 7, have "tested negative" for H1N1 flu, official sources said.

Throat swab samples of two software engineers, which was sent to the National Institute of Virology at Pune for analysis on May 7, have "tested negative" for H1N1 flu, official sources said.

"Throat swabs of the duo, who were quarantined at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Chest Diseases, here with suspected symptoms of HIN1 flu virus, tested negative at NIV," the sources told PTI.

The two engineers, who arrived at Bengaluru International Aiport (BIA) from US on May 7, were screened by the medical centre set up for the purpose and immediately sent to Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Chest diseases.
