At least 20 per cent votes were cast in the first three hours of polling in the second and final phase of LS elections in Assam on Thursday.

Till 10 am, 30 per cent polling was recorded in Kokrajhar and Tezpur where controversial sitting Congress MP Mani Kumar Subba is seeking a fourth term.

While Jorhat, Kaliabar and Mangaldoi recorded 20 per cent polling, Dhubri, Barpeta, Gauhati, Nagaon, Dibrigarh and Lakhimpur recorded 15 per cent each, election office sources said.
