20 % water cut from tomorrow: MCGM

The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai has announced a 20 % water cut throughout the city from Wednesday due to shortage of water and delay in arrival of the monsoon.

Water level of the lakes supplying water to the city has gone down due to lack of rains, according to a MCGM release on Tuesday.

They said that the water cuts will be in force till the onset of the monsoon.

The water cuts are to be effective in areas of neighbouring Thane where MCGM supplies water.
