In one of the biggest narcotics seizures in Mumbai, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Sunday seized 200 kgs of cocaine, worth Rs 200 crore in the international market. The cocaine was seized from a container at Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust in Mumbai. Two persons were also detained in this connection.

The contraband material was hidden in the container that had arrived at JNPT in a vessel named `S L Voyager', NCB sources said. They added that the seizure was made following a tip-off that cocaine was likely to be smuggled into the country in a container.
In all, eight containers despatched by a particular company, were isolated and found carrying wooden logs imported by a local company.
One of the containers carrying the logs had the contraband material hidden in them, sources said adding no such material was found in rest of the containers.
