Twenty-five employees, including officials, of Madhya Pradesh government have been suspended on the charge of dereliction of duty for not attending a training programme for Lok Sabha elections.

Official sources on Tuesday said the employees, including Chief Executive Officer R S Bharti, were suspended by Sagar Collector and District Electoral Officer Shivshekhar Shukla.

They did not participate in the poll training programme conducted on April 24 and 25, the sources said.
