First and foremost, I have to share my excitement with you over the Worli sea-link in Mumbai. I was there just a day after its opening and you won’t believe the experience I had. People who’ve been abroad might take for granted this grand structure but you should’ve seen the excitement of the thousands of people who have never had a chance to travel abroad.

My friend tells me that families hired cars just to take a trip across the sea-link. As I drove through, I could see people playing loud music, enjoying the view or dancing from one end to the other… its reception wasn’t much different from how the Delhi Metro was received by Delhiites.

Besides that, one look at my inbox and I knew what I wanted to write about this week. Almost all of you have been asking for tips on how to survive the first couple of days of college. By now you’ve undoubtedly got innumerable words of wisdom from friends, family, seniors, teachers and so on and so forth, so I’l skip the list of do’s and tell you the 3 golden don’ts.

First, don’t overdo anything. Whether it’s what you wear, what you flaunt or what you drive. Being decked up like a disco ball is bound to get you noticed and the nail that sticks out gets hammered in. So play it cool, wait for at least a week before you start strutting the fashionable stuff.
