In Surendranagar a 29-year-old Kalpesh Gohil was arrested for illegally carrying a stock of explosives materials, Surendranagar district police said.

Explosives recovered include 50 kg ammonium nitrate, 850 gelatin sticks, 300 electric detonator and 100 safety fuse.

Gohil has been booked under Explosive Substance Act.

In Godhra taluka of Panchmahal district, two persons were arrested with explosives including 84 detonators and 52 gelatin sticks, police said.
