SCUFFLE BETWEEN children took a serious turn in old Jhusi locality on Sunday morning after elders jumped into the fray and assaulted each other, indulged in firing and also burst a couple of crude bombs.
Three persons were injured in the incident.
One of them with serious injuries was taken to the hospital for treatment. Later, police swooped down to arrest four persons including the two injured persons.
Though the situation was stated to be under control but tension was palpable in the area. Police , on its part, has denied the incident of firing.
It all began between the children of Naseem and Mohsin. Some people from Mohsin's side allegedly assaulted the other party with sticks and lathis. The attack left one Dilshad Ahmad alias Jini seriously injured. Naseem took Jini to the police station and lodged a FIR against Dilip, Kalam, Kallu and Guddu. However police lodged NCR in the incident and took Jini for treatment.
Naseem later accused the opposite party of firing and hurling brickbats and bombs at his residence. his happened when he had come to the Beli Hospital to get Jini treated, he alleged.
