Three witnesses were examined at a district court in Lakhimpur on Tuesday in the Indian Oil sales officer Manjunath murder case.

The prosecution examined Dhanraj Sahni, in whose house in the town Manjunath lived and Ashok Agarwal and Anurag Agarwal, the owner and manager of a petrol pump respectively in Gola area in the district.
Manjunath had reportedly watched television and spent some time at the pump of Agarwal on November 19 last year, the day he was shot dead at another petrol pump.
The accused persons had created a ruckus in the court of District Judge SN Abdi on Monday and had manhandled media personnel.
The examination of the witnesses would continue on Wednesday.
Manjunath was shot dead allegedly by Monu Mittal, the owner of a petrol pump, when the former had threatened to cancel his license after detecting adulteration.
His bullet-riddled body was recovered by the police in Sitapur district when the accused persons were allegedly trying to dispose it off.
